Soft Pure Water
Soft Pure Water, Pure Science, Pure Health!
We Provide Whole Home and Swimming Pool Water Systems.
LIVING WATER: Soft Pure Water's Ozone system has many applications for good health and wellness in people and animals by retaining the healthy benefits of oxygen and chelated minerals in your water. In addition, our Ozone technology treats hard water problems without the use of salt. Plasma Ozone is injected into the water stream where it oxidizes organics into their basic elements and chelates, or fractures, minerals in water into micron-sized particles. This dual action of oxidation and chelation naturally pH balances the water to 7.2-7.6. Oxidized material and larger minerals are filtered out of the water. The net effect is that the water produced is perfect for the human body, pH balanced, loaded with micro-oxygen, healthy chelated minerals, free of chemicals, bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, and naturally softened.

Key Disadvantages of Reverse Osmosis and Water Softeners
WATER SOFTENERS
Water Softeners are designed to prevent scale build up in your appliances and plumbing, but also has it's disadvantages:
1. Health Concerns:
Most water softeners use the ion exchange method, which replaces calcium and magnesium with sodium. This can increase the sodium content in your water, which might be problematic for people on sodium-restricted diets, like those with high blood pressure or heart conditions. softened water might strip beneficial minerals from the body or alter the microbiome in the gut.
2.Sodium Content Increase:
Water can become too soft, which might feel slippery or slimy to some people.
3. Only partial home use:
Most Softeners are not hooked up to the kitchen sink and hot water heaters. This allows for chemicals and bacteria's to show their presence.
4. Salt Disposal:
The salt used in water softeners eventually ends up in sewage systems, potentially affecting water quality in rivers and lakes.
5. Regular Maintenance:
Ongoing maintenance include refilling salt, cleaning or replacing resin, and checking for system inefficiencies.
REVERSE OSMOSIS
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a popular water purification technology, but it does come with several disadvantages:
Wastewater Production:
Reverse osmosis systems can produce a significant amount of wastewater. Typically, for every 1 gallon of purified water produced, up to 5 gallons of wastewater are created.
Acidic Water:
Acidic water can lead to gastrointestinal discomfort, including heartburn, acid reflux, or upset stomach, over time, it can potentially alter the stomach's natural acidity, which might affect digestion.
Tooth Erosion:
Acidic water can erode tooth enamel over time, leading to dental sensitivity, cavities, or other dental problems. This is particularly concerning if the water is consumed regularly.
Mineral Depletion:
Acidic water can leach minerals like calcium and magnesium from the bones, potentially contributing to conditions like osteoporosis if consumed in significant amounts over long periods.
Chemical Use:
To prevent scaling and bacterial growth, RO systems often require chemicals like antiscalants and biocides. This not only adds to the cost but also introduces chemicals into the waste stream, which can be an environmental concern.
Membrane Fouling and Maintenance:
Over time, RO membranes can become fouled or clogged by minerals, particles, or biological growth, which reduces efficiency and requires cleaning or replacement. This maintenance can be labor-intensive and costly.
Selective Removal:
While RO is excellent at removing many contaminants, it also removes beneficial minerals from the water, leading to water that is less healthy for consumption without remineralization.
Slow Process:
Compared to some other filtration methods, RO can be relatively slow.
Potential for Leaching:
Over time, the materials in RO systems (like plastic storage tanks) can leach chemicals into the water, although this is generally minimal with high-quality systems.

Soft Pure Water has transformed our water quality; it's clean, and tastes amazing. Highly recommend!
