WATER SOFTENERS

1. Health Concerns: Most water softeners use the ion exchange method, which replaces calcium and magnesium with sodium. 4. Mineral Depletion:

   • Acidic water can leach minerals like calcium and magnesium from the bones, potentially contributing to conditions like osteoporosis if consumed in significant amounts over long periods.
